Seven and Eight are kind of non-turns in the Vega. Turn 8 (upcoming here) is a turn, but does not require lifting off. It may be that one of the people you see at the left of the picture is the guy who took the photo of the wagon in Turn 8. (Click photo). The location of that shot is just ahead. Farther along in Turn 9 we can see one of the pylons that displayed car and position for fans in the East end of the stands and infield. This is still wide-open throttle country for a Vega. |

I believe the previous picture is the entrance to Turn 10. I left out the 10- 11-12 complex. Maybe I can find a way to get it back in here. This is turn 17. Ontario -1- |

Bending into Turn 9 we can see the massive main grandstand at the South side of the front straight. There was a plan to extend it between oval Turns 4 and 1 as the need arose. Guess what? The long mounds of earth may still be there, but no seats, I bet.
Beginning to spy what looks like a right-hand turn up ahead, and well beyond that, the wall outside oval Turn Two, I think. The course was known as featureless and difficult. | |

That apex coming up at the left is Turn 18, where we have seen the coupe in a more-or-less head-on view. (Click photo) |
