Pretty straightforward: Start/Finish was in the middle of the very short straight piece of track seen here just below the symbol indicating a view to the starter stand.
Not much else to say about it. I estimated the distance between the Southeast turn and the following turn. I don't remember any features that would pin it down, and after 20-something years, there was no indication showing up in the photo.
