VI Circuito Benito Juarez Road Races
19 November 1972

Photos made from 8mm movie film.

Here you'll see some course setup, some of the spectators;
mostly you'll see the view through the windscreen of a Vega
Kammback.

Photo: early activity at the Nortwest end of the runway

Early in the morning a course worker carried a bale of straw
to mark the apex of a turn, or an edge of the racing surface.
The bale-carrier's dog follows him, as children play.

Beyond the activity is a fence; beyond that, a road and
another fence; beyond that, the US of A.

Photo: children line up  for a group portrait;

Local enthusiasts line up for a portrait. There is lettering
on the window of the Kammback: "Tijuana, Mexico"

Photo: one more view of the Tijuana Mexico lettering

One more view of the "Tijuana, Mexico" lettering.
This time it is superimposed on an airliner.
On Saturday part of the race course ran under
the tail of this older airplane. By Sunday race
day, the plane had been moved a few yards away.
